In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, Connecting Leeds are implementing trial measures to enable social distancing and active travel across the city, as part our emergency safe streets, save lives campaign.
Work is planned for September 2020 on Roseville Road and Gledhow Road to implement cycling between Roundhay Road and Regent Street . The aims are to:
It is anticipated most of this work will be undertaken during the day. But work on laying new road surfaces, may need to take place overnight, when businesses are closed, and traffic diverted, to avoid causing disruption. This also helps to keep pedestrians safe. Any overnight work will take place between 7pm and 5am. Pedestrian access to properties will be maintained at all times.
