In order for people to travel comfortably by foot and bicycle, we are adding cycling lanes.

The map below will show routes planned in response to Covid-19 travel changes, as well as existing cycling infrastructure and routes that have been planned previously. Click on a line to learn more. Following the map is a list of schemes. More information on specific schemes will be provided as it becomes available.

You will be able to comment on the schemes planned in response to Covid-19 travel changes. Ongoing schemes will have separate consultation processes. Those will not be available for comment at this time.

You can comment on multiple schemes, but only one-at-a-time, using the Comment on this Proposal button. There are more than 50 to consider. You will see that some refer to 'TCF.' Those schemes are funded through the Department for Transport's Transforming Cities Fund.
